Every patient’s needs are different; therefore, we will determine your fee according to your individual orthodontic needs and the estimated duration of treatment. It is our goal to provide you with the most efficient and convenient payment schedule possible, and we will work with you to accommodate your needs. We accept payments via cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards and we can set up an automatic monthly charge to your credit card if you would like.
We offer several payment options to help meet your individual needs.
- We offer interest-free financing in-house. As long as your account stays current, we will not charge financing fees.
- We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover card.
We will contact your insurance carrier and obtain a copy of the eligibility and benefits which has been set up by your employer and your insurance company, for your orthodontic coverage.
Orthodontic insurance generally pays the estimated benefit over the course of the treatment. Most insurances have a pre-determined maximum lifetime benefit that they will pay over the estimated length of your treatment. If insurance does not pay the maximum estimated amount, or if your maximum amount is reduced by your employers’ benefit department, you will be responsible for paying the remaining balance.
Remember that there are circumstances that will cause your insurance to change.
Some of these reasons include:
- Employer changing insurance carrier
- Change in insurance benefit level
- Change in job during treatment
If a change in your insurance occurs, please notify us as soon as possible.
Insurance estimates are based on records as of the date of inquiry. This information may not be accurate on the date services are rendered. The estimate is neither an authorization nor a guarantee of eligibility, benefit or payment. If estimated insurance payments become past due or cannot be collected for any reason, the patient is responsible for the unpaid insurance balance.
